Nick is a professional Geophysicist with close to 20 years of domestic (WCSB) and international oil and gas exploration and development experience. He has played a key role in a broad range of projects for major and junior companies including frontier exploration, near field exploration, field development and optimization and global new ventures, in both off-shore and on-shore settings. Nick has spent much of his career abroad, residing and working in Paris France, Port Harcourt Nigeria and Houston Texas, which has given him diverse experience working with different business practices and technical standards.
Nick’s exploration work has contributed to new oil and gas discoveries in Canada, Trinidad & Tobago, Cyprus, Australia and Egypt and he has lead reservoir studies for field development and optimization in Canada, Nigeria, Egypt and Australia. He has spent over 10 years directly involved in global new ventures, assessing many new business development and exploration opportunities as well as meeting relinquishment obligations. His work directly contributed to several successful joint ventures and the awarding of new exploration blocks in Syria and Cyprus.
Nick has a B.Sc. in Geophysics and an MBA, both from the University of Calgary and is a member of APEGA, SEG and AAPG.
