Geoff is a Professional Geologist and Certified Petroleum Data Analyst with 15+ years of work experience in the oil and gas industry.
He has experience in conventional and unconventional reservoirs, including Coalbed Methane (CBM), Steam-Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD) and Shale Oil/Gas. Geoff has been successful in multiple large-scale exploration and development programs personally spearheading the drilling/completion of over 300 wellbores including 150+ horizontal multi-stage stimulated wells targeting both clastic and carbonate formations across Western Canada. He served as principle geological advisor on multiple corporate A&D initiatives which has resulted in successful acquisitions for total cash/stock considerations of over $3.0 billion.
Geoff has been responsible for multiple digital data transformation projects through the creation of semiautonomous, statistic based probabilistic models across some of the most prolific plays in Western Canada including the Montney, Duvernay, Clearwater, Cardium, Spirit River and Viking.
Geoff holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honours from Brandon University and is a member of The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), Canadian Society of Professional Geologists (CSPG) and The Professional Petroleum Data Management Association (PPDM).
